Taylor Swift Sings a Travis-Inspired Mashup of “Paper Rings”

The couple’s whirlwind romance has withstood the test of a global Eras tour schedule and a busy football season, and now it looks like “Paper Rings” is back on Swift’s radar. A day after Kelce showed up in Germany to attend Swift’s July 17 and 18 shows at Gelsenkirchen’s Veltins Arena, the Kansas City Chiefs star was clearly on Swift’s mind when she shared a romantic mashup seemingly dedicated to her boyfriend on July 19.

While Kelce had to miss Swift’s Friday night show to fly back to the States to start Chiefs training camp in Missouri, the “Karma” singer gave Swifties a sweet look at how serious her relationship has become — and it looks like she’s seeing it as the end game. Just hours after the couple were seen leaving the arena with Kelce’s arm wrapped around the singer, Swift serenaded the crowd with a surprise rendition of “Paper Rings” and “Stay, Stay, Stay,” which took on new meaning with a football reference.

In a fan-shared video on X (formerly Twitter), Swift can be seen singing in her acoustic version, “I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings, yeah, you’re the one I want” from her.
