If booking a trip to Europe in the summer is too expensive, choose a flight in the fall or winter instead. TAP Air Portugal is offering round-trip flights to Europe from $345.
With these TAP deals, you can fly from Boston, Miami and Washington, DC, to Barcelona, Dublin, Paris, Zurich and Madrid. Of the three US cities, Washington has the most flights, with flights to Dublin, Paris and Zurich.
The travel dates for these offers are October through December, available during Thanksgiving. Flights over Christmas and New Year’s Eve are excluded from this agreement.
These prices are a bargain, so be sure to plan your trip to Europe quickly, as these low prices are expected to last only the next two to three days.

TAP only offers these discounted flights in three cities. Still, they’re all solid deals if you’re trying to visit Europe this year but don’t want to deal with the high ticket prices often associated with spring and summer travel. Also, with tourist days in the fall and winter, you’ll most likely avoid the tourist crowds.
Below are all the flights that TAP is offering. Remember that all flights have stops in Lisbon, Portugal:
- Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) to Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (BCN), starting at $345.
- Dulles International Airport (IAD) to Dublin Airport (DUB), prices from $375.
- IAD to Paris-Orly Airport (ORY), prices from $394.
- IAD to Zurich Airport (ZRH), starting at $404.
- Miami International Airport (MIA) to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD), starting at $408.

If you’re flying from Boston to visit Barcelona in November, Google Flights shows TAP flight as the option with the lowest airfare.
TAP offers only one round trip flight which will keep the fare the same. It departs from Barcelona at 2:35 pm
Although Google Flights will show that the return price is $332 when searching for flights, keep in mind that the $332 price tag is not necessarily correct. If you book your flight directly on the TAP website, it will cost you $345.
There is sometimes a price difference between Google Flights and the airline’s website because Google Flights has third-party booking sites, which often promise lower fares.
These deals are also available in basic economy class. TAP’s basic economy class fares, called “Discounts” on the website, allow passengers to bring carry-on baggage and personal items only. Passengers can also get an in-flight meal.
Seat selection prices range from $13 to $115 — more expensive seats include more legroom and are closer to the front of the plane. More expensive chairs also include USB sockets.
You also have the option of checked baggage, which costs $85 one way.

While only available in Boston, Miami, and Washington, these TAP fares are incredibly low and still worth buying before they sell out. Basic economy class round-trip fares can often cost as little as $500, and all of these TAP fares range from $300 to as low as $400.
Fares can change quite often — especially when seats run out — so make sure to book these flights as early as possible.
