Swiss Skydiver Sells to Yoshida for $4.7 Million
2020 Preakness Stakes (G1) winner Swiss Skydiver sparked fireworks Nov. 9 at The November Sale, Fasig-Tipton’s marquee breeding stock sale near Lexington, when she was knocked down to Katsumi Yoshida for $4.7 million.
The daughter of Daredevil thrilled fans at 3 when she beat the boys to win the second leg of the American Triple crown, a highlight of her accomplished career for owner Peter J. Callaghan and trainer Kenny McPeek. She will start her second career as a broodmare in Japan.
