Meanwhile, the Black Edition, as its name suggests, comes in Bluish Black Pearl 3 and is equipped with faux carbon fiber on the grille, door mirror caps, spare tire cover and rear door hinge cover, along with the same roof rack, door visors and fenders as the previous version. Tropical forest. Inside, the grip covers are black with bright green stitching, and NEM says it also gets a two-tone Nappa leather upgrade for free.

Perhaps most notable is that both the Rainforest and Black Edition are slightly cheaper than the Jimny’s standard RM174,900 price despite coming with plenty of genuine Suzuki accessories. Rainforest retails at RM168,900while the Black Edition is a bit more expensive at RM171,900. Both figures are on-the-road without insurance, including a three-year/100,000km warranty.

Jimny continues to be equipped with a 1.5 liter K15B naturally aspirated VVT engine, producing 100 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and maximum torque of 130 Nm at 4,000 rpm. All that is sent to all four wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and part-time all-wheel drive system, complete with a low-range transfer case and torque vectoring with brakes.

Standard equipment includes automatic LED headlights, fog lights, 15-inch gray alloy wheels, manually adjustable cloth seats, single-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a smart touchscreen. 7-inch infotainment with Apple CarPlay connectivity, two speakers and dual airbags.
