Australian Subaru is celebrating its 50th anniversary on local soil with a series of five special edition models.
The company released the 50 Year Edition models of the forester, remote areasAnd WRX sedan and Sportswagon, distinguished by aesthetic tweaks and in some cases additional equipment.
“This year marks 50 years since the start of a national importer and nationwide dealer network for Subaru in Australia,” said Blair Read, managing director of Subaru Australia.
“Since those humble beginnings, more than a million Subarus have hit the roads across the country.”
Subaru Forester 2.5i AWD 50 Years Edition
This special edition is based on Subaru Forester 2.5i AWDbut also get:
- Black leather seat covers with accents
- Upgraded dashboard, center console sides and door panels (same as Forester 2.5iS AWD)
- Choice of exterior finishes Crystal White, Ice Silver, Horizon Blue, Magnetic Gray, Crimson, and Crystal Black
- Special 50 Years Edition Badge
This car is priced $38,890 excluding on-road costs.
Subaru Forester 2.5iS AWD 50 Years Edition
This special edition is based on Subaru Forester 2.5iS AWDbut also get:
- Dark gray 18-inch alloy wheels
- Black front grille
- Crystal black shark fin antenna, door mirror caps, side and rear trim
- black roof rails
- Decorative black front fog lights
- Black front and rear bottom protection
- Back badge in glossy black
- Special 50 Years Edition Badge
It’s available with all of the Forester’s standard exterior finishes, only with black interior trim.
This car is priced $46,840 excluding road costs.
Subaru Outback AWD Touring XT 50 Years Edition
This special edition is based on Subaru Outback XTbut added:
- Sporty exterior styling (including fixed roof rails, green accents and black rear badging) and dark metal-finished alloy wheels
- Crystal Black rear trim and rear spoiler
- Special 50 Years Edition Badge
It only comes in Geyser Blue paint with a black interior.
This car is priced $56,490 excluding road costs.
Subaru WRX AWD 50 Year Edition
This special edition is based on Subaru WRX AWDwith a choice of manual or automatic transmission, but also get:
- Crystal black door mirror caps, rear spoiler and shark fin antenna
- Black back badge
- Ultrasuede seat cover (black and gray only)
- Electrically adjustable driver and front passenger seats
- 2 x rear USB-A charging ports
- Blue stitching on seats and door panels, instrument panel, steering wheel, gear lever, center console cushions and front center armrests
- Premium leather-wrapped steering wheel
- Special 50 Years Edition Badge
The vehicle is available in Ceramic White, WR Blue, Crystal Black and Solar Orange exterior paint colors.
Manual transmission car has a price $47,690 excluding road costs and automatic options carry a Price $51,690.
Subaru WRX AWD Sportswagon 50 Years Edition
Based on the entry-level WRX AWD, the 50 Year Edition also gets:
