First expansion for Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Coming on July 20, 2022, and it’s time for Jack to take on the Warrior of Light. Square Enix and Team Ninja revealed a detail Stranger of Paradise Expansion trailer on July 15. Title Dragon King’s TrialThe expansion will add a bunch of new jobs, a new weapon, and a bunch of new encounters to use them.

Dragon King Trials is the first of three planned Stranger of Paradise extension. Two others titled Wanderer of the Rift and Another future, though they don’t have a release window or details yet. One problem is that Square Enix doesn’t sell expansions separately. As such, those interested will need to pick up the Season Pass, which will unlock all three missions when they release.
The Dragon King’s Trial The trailer shows a battle with the Warrior of Light. Here, the Warrior is wearing an armor that closely resembles his armor in Dissidia Final Fantasy. That design in turn was inspired by the original by Yoshitaka Amano Final Fantasy concept art. The trailer also shows battles with Bahamut, as Jack and the party pursue their deal.
The Stranger of Paradise The expansion will also add Staves to the list of playable weapons. They are outstanding weapons with a wide sweeping attack. The new Pilgrim job uses skills to keep enemies within range, and the “hook attack” job action can send players to enemies’ locations or drag them in for a combo. Evokers can summon spirits to attack independently or perform special functions. Summoner can summon and control Bahamut to attack.
