The Cleveland, Texas resident tagged the rescue ThisIsHouston on a social media post. A starving Husky, in a critical condition, collapsed in their yard. When a rescuer named Laura arrived, the poor dog seemed lifeless. His eyes were closed, and he couldn’t move. He used all his strength to lift his head an inch off the ground to prove to the rescuers that he was still alive.
Laura promises that she and her team will do everything they can to ensure the Husky gets the proper care. They loaded him into their car and took him to the nearest emergency room, an hour away. An hour feels like an eternity! When it comes to the vet clinic, everyone gets involved and makes sure the puppy has everything it needs.
It took a week for the dog, now named Jake, to open his eyes. They were amazed by their green color! The detoxers made sure he ate plenty of food, and within a week he was able to get up on his own. No matter how painful it was, Jake still wanted to play. It wags its tail like crazy! The puppy knows these kind people are heroes and thanks them for their love and affection.
What followed was an absolute miracle! His transformation, physically and mentally, will warm your heart and soul. Wait till you see him now! He is unrecognizable! Thank you to all the kind people who saved Jake’s life.
