Grant has written for publications such as Sports Illustrated and author of books including Beckham experiment: How the world’s most famous athlete tried to conquer America and The Masters of Modern Football: How the World’s Best Players Play the Game of the 21st Century. He produced the mini series 2022 good opponent, about “competition between the United States and Mexico national football teams,” according to IMDb.
After his death, a spokesman for the United States Department of State tweeted that they “worked with senior Qatari officials to ensure that his family’s wishes were fulfilled as quickly as possible” and noted that they were “in close communication” with Grant’s family .
