Southwest Wanna Get Away Day Sweepstakes: Earn Rewards Points, Discounted Flights, and More This Week Only
This week is Southwest Airlines’ birthday, and the airline is holding a Wanna Get Away Day sweepstakes, offering passengers a chance to win up to $20 million Quick bonus points throughout the past week.
Come Sunday, Southwest will reveal daily gifts onlineincluding discounted flights and the opportunity to earn reward points for Rapid Rewards cardholders.

First, travelers can sign up to win a limited number of Rapid Rewards points daily. No purchase is necessary. To participate, you must register online by 11:59 p.m. CDT on Sunday, at least 19 years old and a legal resident of the United States (excluding residents of Alaska, Florida, New York, and Rhode Island).
Additionally, Southwest has revealed two other deals to date, including a chance to earn rewards points for Southwest Rapid Rewards credit cardholders.
All Southwest Rapid Rewards credit cardholders can earn up to 10 points per dollar, up to $500, on Southwest purchases made through Sunday. These are the bonus points stacked on top of regular earnings, including:
Travelers can also get up to 40% off base fares for fall flights booked before Thursday. Book online with code “40OFF” for travel between August 15 and December 14. This offer is valid for travel booked before 11:59pm PDT on Thursday. Outage dates apply, including November 16-27.
