Sony’s a7R series has long been appreciated for offering extremely high resolution (in fact the highest available in a full frame camera), along with a host of advanced features that make it the go-to choice. suitable for many applications. Now in its fifth generation, the a7R is quite refined and can meet the needs of many users. Coming to you from DPReview TVThis excellent video review looks at Sony a7R VU mirrorless camera. The a7R V comes with the same 61-megapixel sensor as the a7R IV, but it still comes with a host of upgrades and extras, including:
- Faster and more accurate autofocus system with improved subject recognition
- New menu system and easier to use
- Better image stabilization
- Improved viewfinder
- Pixel Shift mode for creating 240-megapixel images, now with built-in motion compensation
- The 26- and 15-megapixel reduced resolution image options are sampled from 61-megapixel for improved quality and noise performance, reduced post-processing and lower storage needs.
