Sofia Vergara is ‘Enjoying Life’ Amid New Relationship

Sofia Vergara has had a fantastic European girl summer, traveling around Italy, France, Monaco and Greece over the past few months with friends and boyfriend Dr. Justin Saliman. Like Modern Family When she returned to work on Tuesday, she opened up about her budding relationship and how “grateful” she feels for this new chapter in her life.

While filming the first live episode of America’s Talent Season 19 on August 13, Griselda The actress reflected on her tumultuous summer while chatting with Entertainment tonight on the red carpet. Vergara played coy when asked about her romance and her new relationship with Dr. Saliman, whom she first dated in October 2023, telling the publication it was “too early to tell” exactly how their romance would play out.

The award-winning actress, who shared photos of herself traveling around Italy to celebrate her 52nd birthday with her new boyfriend and son Manolo in July, also revealed that she’s having a great time enjoying the moment and living her best life—and is ready to get back to work.

“I’m enjoying life, I’m so grateful for the people around me,” she told the publication. “I’m grateful for the summer, grateful for the nomination and now just grateful CEO. I’m so excited to meet Simon, Heidi, all of them.” After the show, Vergara shared a few photos on her Instagram Story with America’s Talent Inner circle, including a group photo with Saliman.

Vergara, who has was previously married to Joe Manganiellohas kept her new relationship private, sharing a few low-key debuts on Instagram including publicly confirming her relationship with the orthopedic surgeon in an Instagram Story post in April. Revealing that her new beau helped her recover from knee surgery, she shared a photo of Saliman with the caption, “If you get [major] knee surgery make sure you have a handsome doctor who will sleep with you that night…! Love you.”

Her good friend and colleague CEO Judge Heidi Klum recently shared her approval of Vergara’s new boyfriend after celebrating the actress’s 52nd birthday with the couple, calling him “a very sweet person.”

“I want everyone to be happy at the end of the day. You want to walk through life with someone by your side, because if you have all these amazing things and you travel to the most beautiful places or whatever or even have dinner at home together. You want to do that with someone. I’m so happy for her,” Klum said. Entertainment tonight in July.
