In the early 2000s, no outfit was complete without a striking belt. And although some elements of the noughties have threatened their return over the past few seasons—low-waisted styles, diamantés and medallions have resurfaced as part of the Y2K revival—they I am currently focusing on this latest version. Declared in size but refined in form, this new belt style is underrated but still has an impact. And we discovered it in the proud spot on runwayfrom Carolina Herrera’s resort collection to Alaïa’s Winter/Spring 2024 show just a few days ago.
