If there is one thing I know I can count on in this world, it is Sienna Miller showed up at Glastonbury with a range of incredibly stylish and comfortable outfits in her suitcase. She has consistently been one of the best-dressed music festival attendees for over two decades, with her only rivals being other fashion mainstays Kate Moss and Alexa Chung. And 2024 is unlikely to put an end to her long streak. For this year’s trip down to Worthy Farm, Miller ditched her usual boho style for something a little more laid-back and even sporty, including a Barbour drawstring plaid jacket and black rubber boots, which she paired with baggy white Khaite jeans. She finished the look with some cat eye sunglasses and big gold earring.

While there are countless points I could go on and on about her outfit, the aspect that stood out to me the most was her jacket, with its super practical polyester outer shell and elasticized hem. It immediately made me think of spring/summer 2024 collectionsaw brands like The Row, Tory Burch, Proenza Schouler and Ferragamo all experiment with sportier outdoorwear, with anoraks and zip-up windbreakers styled in unexpected ways that made them look much more stylish than they normally would. At The Row, for example, models wore cream, red and black coats with shiny silk trousers and cool sandals or ballet flats.

Tory Burch’s show included a grey version paired with a silk jersey minidress, sportier blue sunglasses, and the brand’s edgy new T-strap flats, while Maximilian Davis styled a short black option with capri pants and heeled sandals at Ferragamo (a look later reprised on Bella Hadid). At Proenza Schouler, a black hooded jacket was worn with a knee-length skirt, tights, and heeled sandals, further proving that athleisure is a lot more versatile than any of us realize. No, you don’t have to go hiking or running to put your athleisure to good use. Wear it with a skirt, pants, jeans, or even capri pants—this jacket trend really does go with anything in your closet.
