As the Hari Raya Aidilfitri festival approaches, the occasion is sure to be the time when family and friends will gather, whether far or near. It’s definitely an opportunity for people who don’t normally meet and get to know each other.
We are all, no doubt, familiar with the question, or some variation of it: Where is your boyfriend/girlfriend? As in our Hari Raya video, Joe’s mom is keen to meet his girlfriend Janice, as well as all of his friends when they visit.
As it turns out, the more reserved among us need a little coaxing to muster up the courage to meet people for the first time, even if – or maybe special if they are the friends and family of our loved one, as Janice did, when reviewing the photo from Hari Raya first.
Maybe it’s the season to step outside a little more and get to know the people closest to us who are dearest to us – who knows, behind that veil of uncertainty could be the truth. warmest welcome.
