The cheap fares in these deals only apply to basic economy class, which can feel limiting, especially on longer international flights.

Delta’s basic economy doesn’t allow for ticket changes or seat selection. Passengers can bring one carry-on baggage free of charge and checked baggage costs 150 USD round trip.

You can also book flights to Milan through KLM, as Delta and KLM are both members of the SkyTeam alliance.

Despite the limitations with basic economy fares, you can still save money on airfare with these flights. Typically, flights to Milan from Seattle cost between $750 and $1,950, according to Google Flights.

If you want to visit Italy without spending too much, these deals are a more affordable option. Fares to Italy can cost around $950 on average, and these flights are nearly 50% off.

While basic economy class is limited and not the most comfortable option for longer international flights, it’s still worth booking considering how much you can save on airfare .

You can save that money to buy a plane ticket and book it into a nicer hotel or maybe go shopping in the city known as the fashion capital of the world.
