RON97 gasoline price update week May 3, 2024 – premium gasoline price unchanged; still RM3.47 per liter
It’s Wednesday and so it’s time for the usual weekly fuel price update, as the Treasury has announced the retail fuel prices for next week from 16 to 22 May 2024.
RON 97 gasoline price continues to have no change, so it continues to be at RM 3.47/liter from last week, and has actually been available since last September. For RON 95 gasoline, the level continues ceiling price of RM2.05/literset by the Malaysian government in February 2021.
Similarly, diesel prices remain unchanged, with Euro 5 B10 and B20 blends remaining at RM2.15/litre, and Euro 5 B7 diesel priced 20 sen higher, at RM2.35 per litre.
These prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday 22 May 2024, when the next series of fuel price updates will be published. This is the 20th edition of Weekly fuel price format this year and a total of 279 times since the format was introduced in early 2019.
