Capcom will bring Resident Evil Village coming to Mac by the end of 2022. The announcement was made at WWDC 2022. Director of Advanced Technical Research Masaru Ijuin revealed that the game will support 1080p and 4K resolutions through MetalFX Upscaling. The presentation also showcases how the port will look and work on Mac computers with Apple Silicon.

Several environments are shown during the presentation. These include looking at Dimitrescu Castle and the typical village on a Mac.
Capcom announced in June 2021 that Resident Evil Village DLC will appear eventually. A follow-up statement came out in January 2022, revealing that the company plans to release the add-on. sometime in 2022. However, the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Capcom also did not specify what the content of the DLC will involve. This means there are no details on the potential stories it will cover or which characters will appear.
In December 2021, Resident Evil Village appear on Capcom’s Platinum Honors list. Worldwide sales for this title hit 6.1 million units as of May 11, 2022.
Resident Evil Village available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One and computer. It will arrive on Macs in late 2022.
