Reality is dead, but at least we have Twitter

It starts with love. It’s always like that.

When we’re looking for love, we tell ourselves we’re looking for something real.

Not the fake kind where someone is tricking us. It’s not like we’re forced to fake it, just because we’re cute and have a nice apartment. It’s not fake when people say we’re the love of someone’s life, when we’re really the love of their week.

We want the real thing. Because in a life where truth is the only thing that works — even if only temporarily — to fight death, we need something concrete, something we can rely on. enter.

Then along with the technology industry.

No, that’s not fair.

Moreover, with it comes a technology that embraces everyone, monetizes everyone, and begins to completely change human behavior.

When it comes to love, the tech industry has promised us that we’ll be more likely to meet real people. As long as we tell tech owners more about us.

Before we knew it, we started to feel flattered. We get messages from members of our target gender who look funny and successful.

Too often, however, we end up never seeing them. Because they haunted us. Because they are bots, specially created to make us trust the technology and increase the engagement number of the dating site.

We are still slow to catch up.

The more we interact with the internet world, the longer it takes us to realize that things are not as they seem. Everyone too.

We move on because everyone is involved and everyone is there.

More and more new internet services are popping up, there to mine our data while pulling our emotions.

Many of these services need us to be enchanted, inspired, enthralled, and perhaps most of all, angry.

Of course, at the heart of all of this is Twitter.

Pushed into the whirlpool of humanity, we are suddenly confronted with words, thoughts, and views that continue to upset us.

How can people be like this? How can they think like this? How does the world even work with these types of people in it?

Yet again, we were slow to absorb.

We didn’t understand that many of the loudest shouters on Twitter were bots created in far-flung places to create something that so many types of nefarious politics love: Chaos.

What brings order to chaos? Why, strong leaders. And, quite naturally, strong technology companies are built on rigorously rational principles.

Or so we said.

And now we’ve achieved what for many could be the ultimate Countdown. With emphasis on the last syllable.

As AI comes on screen and enters our lives, we begin to realize that nothing is real anymore.

But it is Nothing to hang?

Even people who are making things like GPT-4 confess they are afraid of what it might do. Or, perhaps, what it could end up being.

But they move on, because transportation is more important than stripping society of its ultimate grip on reality.

Well, most glitter AIs do. Last week, there was still the CEO of Twitter, Elon Musk be among those who become alarmists about what GPT4 doing to our world.

He and Steve Wozniak will definitely be our defenders. They’re asking for it no more AI development to be done after GPT4 – for at least six months.

Meanwhile, the images you see, the words you read, the people you meet, everything online that makes you feel sad, happy, smart or angry may not be real at all.

On Twitter, it may no longer be free for allbut it’s completely free for anyone with destructive motives.

However, we still tell ourselves that we know what is real. Just like we do in love.

However, you don’t know if I actually wrote this column or if GPT4 did it for me, right?
