Players made the short trip from Augusta, Georgia, to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina, for the 2024 RBC Heritage. In total, 69 golfers participated in Harbor Town Golf Links as another signature event in the upcoming PGA Tour tournament schedule.

Unlike the Genesis Invitational or Arnold Palmer Invitational, the RBC Heritage does not have a 36-hole cut, meaning the entire field will be played over the weekend. That was music to the ears of those who missed the weekend’s action at the Masters, including the likes of Jordan Spieth, Justin Thomas, Wyndham Clark and Brian Harman.

Spieth, the 2022 champion, looks to get his season started after a disappointing performance at Augusta National. He’s no stranger to returning to the RBC Heritage, having missed the cut in his first major championship of the year with a win a week later at Hilton Head. He’s not in contention to win this tournament, but he certainly played better than last week.

This tournament, like the rest of the PGA Tour today, was played by Scottie Scheffler. The world No. 1 is aiming to win his fourth trophy in the last five tournaments and he holds a 54-hole lead going into the final day. Donning just his second green jacket, Scheffler has widened the gap between him and the rest of the world and shows no signs of slowing down. Collin Morikawa and Ludvig Åberg – just as they did at the Masters – are crushing Scheffler on Sunday.
