Kotobukiya will re-release a Lio Fotia figure from Promare. It will cost 16,500 JPY ($107.75) and will launch in October 2024. [Thanks, Figure Times!]
The Promare The character Lio in Kotobukiya first debuted in October 2020. That’s less than a year after the film first debuted. Images are available in Kotobukiya online store, only offers delivery services within Japan. Those outside Japan may want to buy it from stores like AmiAmi. Incidentally, you can save almost 3000 JPY if you order from AmiAmi. It puts this at around 13,860 JPY, or about $90.70 USD.
The drawing shows Lio holding the Burnish flame in his hand, with the flame around his feet as a base. It is a 1/7 scale figure and approximately 247 mm tall. Because of the way his hair is wrapped around his head, it can be a bit difficult to see his eyes. You can adjust this based on how you position the image on your screen.
Promare go out 2019, produced by Studio Trigger and XFLAG. Hiroyuki Imaishi directed it. The film focuses on Galo, a firefighter with Burning Rescue, and Lio, the leader of the Burnish terrorist group, Mad Burnish. The Burnish are humans who developed pyrokinetic abilities after a mass spontaneous human combustion event, the Great World Blaze.
