Prince Harry discusses the possibility of reconciliation with the Royal Family
Prince Harry is expressing hope to mend his rift with the royal family.
In an interview with British ITV station, broadcast on January 8, journalist Tom Bradby told the Duke of Sussex that people may feel that he has destroyed any chance of reconciliation with his loved ones in England by publishing his new all-encompassing memoir, Preventive. In the book, Harry reveals details about his past, his and Meghan Markle2020 as a working member of the monarchy and their conflict with the royal family.
Harry said he “100 percent” believes there is a chance of reconciliation. However, he said his family has “absolutely not shown good will to reconcile up to this point.”
The 38-year-old added: “I’m not sure how honesty is igniting the bridge. You know, silence just allows the abuser to continue to abuse. Right? So I don’t. know how keeping quiet makes things better.”
The royal family has declined to comment on the book or other comments Harry has made about them in the press.
