All dogs are cute, but nothing is more heartwarming than a cute dog and delight. Chevy, the 9-year-old Pomeranian, fits that description perfectly. He’s a cute little black and white dog that always looks like he’s smiling.
But Chevy’s smile wasn’t just for show. His family says he’s also one of the happiest dogs around, so his looks match well. He’s gained a decent Instagram following over the years and many people view his page just to boost morale. It’s hard to frown when you look at a smiling dog.
Bring home the happiest dogs
Nine years ago, Tina Denlinger and her husband lost their Golden Retriever. They wanted another dog so their Corgi mix could still have companionship, and they found that Chevy was looking for a new home. The Pomeranian was living with a pack of Dachshunds that didn’t get along with him, so the Denlingers brought him home.
The couple from Kettering, Ohio, knew right away their new dog was special. He has the sweetest expression that always looks like he’s smiling, especially when he’s doing something he loves. Before long, he was widely known for his precious smile.
“We never saw him having a bad day. Tina said. “Everything is a memory. If we go for a walk, he celebrates. If there is food, he will celebrate. He is always so happy. “

Chevy especially enjoys spending time outside. He often goes camping and hiking with his family. He also enjoys riding in his family’s golf cart, and he has little hats to protect him from the sun.
Tina said: “He went on a golf cart and surveyed the whole area. “Everybody knows him…. He just got in the car, and he had a little harness so he wouldn’t fall. And that’s his thing. It was like he was in a parade or something. He is very optimistic. “
Chevy can’t stop smiling!
Although Chevy never had a sad day, there were brief moments when he stopped smiling. If he’s cold or uncomfortable, his smile will turn into a slight frown. But once he gets to go out or eat something, his smile will quickly return.
“Everybody thought he was a puppy because he was full of energy,” says Tina. “He does what we call ‘squeezing dry,’ where he spins around whenever he wants something. He goes into a complete circle”.
Chevy’s smile is contagious. Every time someone saw him walking down the street, they couldn’t help but smile back. So Chevy’s person made him a Instagram page to share his warm face with the world.
