Plunder Panic Launches into Early Access Sauna just a few months ago, and today it received its first major content update, adding online matchmaking to its 6v6 arcade-style battles. The aim of the game is to destroy opposing crews, either by stealing their treasures, defeating enemy captains or sinking their ships. Think Sea Of Thieves, but be a 2D pixel brawler and you’re halfway there. You don’t have to worry about using 11 other players if you don’t want to, as Plunder Panic supports all kinds of team configurations, including local, online, and AI-controlled players if you so wish. play solo.
Developers Will Winn Games are aiming for a full release next February and plan to use their time in early access to add more competitive game modes, additional items and weapons additions, multiple combat modifiers, additional levels and hazards, and individual and player stats tracking. You can also help shape what happens by joining the official game Discord.
