Yes, I believe it is a better fight. I think Smith is a better all-around boxer than Benn. His experience and level of play is much higher. The only reason Eubank Jnr-Benn is great is because of the family history.

In fact, he is a true boxer who has fought big names in the 154 pound weight class and has achieved more than Eubank Jnr in the sport of boxing. Meanwhile, Conor Benn is not suitable for Eubank Jnr.

Also, he is similar in size to Eubank Jnr. On the other hand, it is the entire history and rivalry of Eubank and Benn that makes the Eubank Jnr vs Benn match so compelling. There have been question marks as to how Benn will perform the weight gain and how Chris will perform in terms of weight loss and rehydration.
