A second man has been arrested by armed police on suspicion of the murder of 9-year-old Olivia Pratt-Korbel.

The 33-year-old man from Dovecot was also arrested on suspicion of two counts of attempted murder.

He was detained by armed officers on Lunsford Road on Friday afternoon.

A spokesperson for Merseyside Police said: “The investigation into Olivia’s tragic murder is ongoing and we still need to build a clear picture of evidence so we can bring those responsible first. Justice.”
