When asked, “What do ladies mean to you?” Her father replied, “Hopefully. Miracle.” It’s a touching quote for a man who truly loved the dog that changed his life. Senior dog Lady was found on the street, barely able to walk. She was covered in filth, ravaged by ticks and fleas. The rescue force got to her just in time!
Despite her condition, Lady used all her strength to wag her tail. She managed to move her head a bit. At this point, her rescuers realize that she has a will to live. Kind people aren’t sure if she has a spinal injury as she can only drag her legs. They immediately went to work to bathe her and treat her parasites.
When she went to the vet, Lady was diagnosed with a broken hip. The poor girl must have suffered greatly! With proper treatment, Lady is finally well enough to walk again, but she will never recover 100%. The old dog smiled as she took her first steps without any significant pain.
Lady had a “new lease for life.” She is a happy old girl, making everyone around her jump for joy. Lady, finally, there’s a new chapter ahead! Especially when she met Jamie’s dad. What her dad did to bring her home was unbelievable! Watch the video below to meet Lady and see her touching story.
