The 53 mpg Kia Niro Hybrid costs less than $30,000. The 2023 Nissan Ariya starts at around $45,000 but doesn’t qualify for the EV tax credit. And Polestar is gearing up to launch on October 12 for its next model. This and more, here Green Car Report.
Polestar revealed some more details regarding the upcoming launch, Polestar 3 electric SUV made in the US– includes confirmation of the Performance Pack of 510 hp, clutch-based torque, air suspension and adaptive dampers. The 3 is expected to be roughly the same size as models like the Tesla Model X and BMW iX but will differ from the Volvo EX90 that shares some of its roots.
Nissan revealed a Base price $44,485 for Ariya 2023 electric crossover, with this form allowing an estimated EPA range of 216 miles. At the same time, it raised prices on the rest of the undelivered product line. Because it is made in Japan, the Ariya will not be eligible for the federal EV tax credit.
The 2023 Kia Niro Hybrid has received a price boost with its complete redesign; but at $27,785, it’s still one of the cheapest hybrids. Now it also offers even better gas mileage than before, at up to 53 mpg combined.
