The NieR Reincarnation and FFXIV The official crossover event comes to the global version of the game, according to the game’s information latest route. In addition to the new Dressing Room feature that will arrive sometime after May 2022, the roadmap also mentions many other new features, skins, and main story content.
Square Enix showed a similar route in a live One year anniversary of the game’s release in Japan. In that same live stream, it was revealed that a FFXIV cross event will aim for NieR Reincarnation sometime after May. So far, it has not been confirmed whether the crossover event will appear in the global version of the game.
For the most part, the routes are the same. However, the global version will have a new chapter of the main story of the Sun and Moon in March, which is a month earlier than the Japanese version. Some of the major new features include a monthly updated Hidden Story, new weekly arena ranking rewards, new difficulty for quests and event exploration, and costume rewards. Sometime after May, Square Enix also plans to add a Locker Room feature. Details are still scarce on what this new feature will entail.
final NieR Automata and NieR Replicant Cross events will return with NieR Reincarnation in February and March, respectively. The NieR Replicant Cross event has appeared before in September 2021when NieR Automata events that appeared before in July 2021.
NieR Reincarnation instantly available on iOS and Android devices. The changing room has and FFXIV Cross event will appear sometime after May 2022.
