Young Bryce

Alabama’s Bryce Young has enjoyed a long career as a starting quarterback for the Crimson Tide. Among other accolades, the boy from California won the 2021 Heisman Award and has the College Football Knockout National Championship on his resume. In 2022, Young passed 3,328 yards and 32 touchdowns while giving his team a 45-20 lead against Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl. In that match, he threw 321 yards.

It’s clear why Young is at the top of the FOX Bet hypothetical odds table to take the #1 spot overall. The bears are on the clock, but will they play as a winger? Justin’s Field (choice number 11 in 2021) already on the list? It is possible that Young is still the first player selected, as Chicago could potentially switch selections.

CJ Stroud

One of the things that attracted interest in the draft was the way players could move up (or down) the dummy draft and the odds table without playing the game.

Such was the case with Stroud, the Ohio State quarterback whose hypothetical odds shortened from +300 to +125. Young had one of the most impressive seasons of all the college QBs this year. His 41 touchdowns ranked second in the sport, and in the Buckeyes’ loss to Georgia at the Peach Bowl, Stroud hit 348 yards and four touchdowns.

A Heisman finalist in 2022 and a first-team All-Big Ten this and last season, Stroud is as attractive as some NFL teams will be looking to add talent in the QB position. If Bears trade down, Stroud could be worth the trouble at these odds.

Minnesota’s Mo Ibrahim, Georgia’s Jalen Carter Win RJ Player of the Year

Jalen Carter

Defensive quarterback Carter is another person worth keeping an eye on for players who can be pre-drafted overall. And while his #1 streak is longer than that of Young and Stroud, his resume is just as impressive as his competitors.

Carter has been unanimously named All-SEC All-US and First-team All-SEC in 2022, and he boasts two national championships as part of the team’s elite defensive unit. Georgia. It’s not often that a defensive midfielder is picked at the top, but if there’s a player that can change things up, Carter at +650 would be a bet worth considering, especially when the Bears are hungry. thirsty add a three-tech defensive midfielder to their roster.

Will Anderson

Anderson’s stock appears to be falling as the percentage of Tide featured people named first has increased from +125 to +740. The 6-foot-4, 243-pound full-back made 57 solo tackles in the 2021 season and 24 solo tackles and one interception in the 2022 campaign. More importantly, he’s a bag machine, recorded 17.5 bags last season and 10 bags this year. Many consider him to be the best passer in the draft.

Will Levis

The Kentucky quarterback has seen his draft rise, fall and bounce back since he hit the final pass to the Wildcats.

His odds to be the 1st pick have increased from +4000 to +500 in one book and cut in half in January in most other books. Since the Bears might not consider a midfielder with the top pick, the two defensive players seem to be a better choice for the No. 1 spot than Levis if they keep it. But if Chicago trades down, you never know.

Which player do you think will be chosen number 1 overall? The odds are always changing, so stay tuned FOX Sports when the script opens!
