Hello PlayStation fans! We have an exciting new update to our free editing app, Share Factory Studio for PS5. We’ve been working hard to bring you a brand new feature called Bits and it’s live today.
Bits is a simplified way to personalize and share your gameplay clips and screenshots with friends on PS5. Choose from one of many arranged Bit styles to quickly create your own version of a familiar or trending meme. If you have your own ideas for Bits, use the easy Quick Edit mode to bring your vision to life. Either way, the new easy editing mode is ideal for both novice and professional editors.
Bits is also the perfect companion to the recently released Game Captures feature in the PS App. All the Bits you create in Share Factory Studio can be automatically accessed from your phone and then shared to your favorite social apps.
The new Bits editing experience includes the following features:
- A brand new editing mode with quick and easy access to all the editing features and new content that can be added to your Bit.
- The ability to create small-scale amusements ranging from a short three-second bounce to a minute-long custom Bits.
- New Bit Styles will be updated regularly from our Bits Live Service. The bit style will refresh based on the day of the week, special events, holidays, seasons and trending stuff.
- Brand new set of animated stickers including sound and even text personalization options.
- A new doodle feature allows freehand doodle creation using the DualSense wireless controller.
- A new voiceover feature with the ability to add a filter that changes your voice to your voice recordings.
Our goal with Bits is to help PlayStation players create and share short-form gameplay videos to share cool achievements, jokes, stunts, and any other type of eye-catching content. becomes extremely easy and fun. Some of our personal favorite Bits include Taco Tuesday, Sitcom Ending, Get Well Soon, and of course – Oh No Laugh.
Share Factory Studio is freely available to all PlayStation players. If you don’t have Share Factory Studio installed, you can use the search feature on the PlayStation main menu to find and install apps.
