NBA YoungBoy warns rappers not to sign with Atlantic Records
NBA YoungBoy is warning rappers not to sign with Atlantic Records.
“Don’t sign with Atlantic,” he wrote. “Trust me.”
This is his second public post about the label. He recently brought Atlantic to the blast, accusing them of blackening him.
“Why polish me I’m a good person!!!???” he wrote. “I was number one for two weeks in a row with a mixtape so they took it off the charts. I don’t give af*ck you still can’t stop me from signing with Atlantic if you’re an artist they don’t support you especially if you live a certain way. “
Two other rappers, Meek Mill and PnB Rock, have also passed on Atlantic Records to their fans.
Meek alleges the label stole Roddy Ricch from him and blacked him out while PnB Rock begged to be released from his deal.
“@Atlanticrecords I WANT TO BUY THIS BS SO QUESTION CAN I ENTER!!!” he wrote at the time. “MILL MILLIONS HELL ME IN YEARS TO GIVE ME ANOTHER MILK!!!”
