Nauticam has unveiled a new M16 USB-C bulkhead that allows you to charge your camera and transfer files without having to remove it from your housing. The bulkhead features a hard-wired cable that ends in a right-angled USB-C connector. Nauticam currently does not provide any information about which of their housings can be used with the new bulkhead, but compatibility will obviously depend on having adequate space to accommodate the compact-looking USB-C connector.
Ikelite users have been able to enjoy the same functionality on their housings since May, when the U.S. company unveiled their USB Charging & Data Transfer Bulkhead, which is compatible with select 200DL and 50DL underwater housings.
Priced at $244, the Nauticam M16 USB-C bulkhead with USB-C Connector is available from the Nauticam website.
