Kimora Lee Simmons says she’s “proud” of Naomi
Over the weekend, People reported that Kimora received the first Jacqueline Avant Humanitarian Award on behalf of Naomi at the DesignCare gala.
While chatting with the store, mother of five Kimora Lee Simmons noted that Naomi Campbell was “overwhelmed” but “in great spirits”.
“Like any new mom, we’re always overwhelmed, and I talked to her briefly and she seemed so elated.”
She stated, “I love her so much, and I’m so proud of her. Now she has [a 2-year-old] and a small infant. It’s always a crazy time for any mom, but especially [with] an infant.”

Naomi Campbell became a mother for the first time in mid-2021 and got married through a surrogate.
Just before celebrating her 51st birthday, Naomi announced, “A beautiful little blessing has chosen me as its mother.” She went on to say that she is “honored to have this tender soul in the [her] life” before declaring, “There is no greater love.”
Campbell later spoke about the importance of this move in a talk with British Vogue.
“I always knew that one day I would be a mother, but it was the greatest joy I could imagine. I’m so lucky to have her and I know it.”
Naomi, who celebrated her 53rd birthday less than two months ago, later revealed that she also welcomed a baby boy through surrogacy. Specifically, she shared the news via Instagram in late June, as The Shade Room reported.
Naomi Campbell revealed the exciting development by uploading a photo of herself cradling her bundle of joy. While the baby’s face is not shown, fans can see Naomi and her daughter – also hidden from camera – gently holding the infant’s hand.
In her caption, the model noted that her son—a “True Gift from God”—is “deeply treasured.”
Naomi happily tells the viewers, “It’s never too late to be a mother.”
