When congressman Jamie Raskin started wearing a bandana while undergoing cancer treatment, he credited E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt and his signature scarves, for his new look. Van Zandt has now taken Raskin’s fashion choices a step further and gifted the Maryland Democrat with a bandana.
“You’re about to see a new twist in my chemo head cover fashion in the next few months,” Raskin tweeted, along with a photo of him wearing his new bandanna.
That gift belongs to all of us who want to thank you every day for giving us hope that there is a politician who cares about justice! This is a complete quick recovery. https://t.co/11WfFWAmrG

Within a month, this politician could be seen wearing a bandana at a House committee hearing. He then said HuffPost that he was inspired by the bandana Van Zandt, who goes by the name Little Steven, often wears.
“I give all the credit to Little Steven for creating this look for American men going through something,” he told the store.
