MotoGP weekend schedule rearranged for rest of season
Practice sessions of the MotoGP class have been scheduled to participate in Q2
By unanimous agreement between the MotoGP Division Teams, the GPC approved the proposal to change the time of the Qualifier 2 sessions.
The first Grand Prix practice session of the weekend will no longer be timed for qualifying/participating in Qualifier 2.
It will remain 45 minutes long and will now be named Free Practice 1.
The second, 60-minute practice session on Friday will now be named Practice. This will be the only practice session that counts towards the start of Q2.
The 30-minute session on Saturday morning will now be named Free Practice 2.
As a result, MotoGP Class sessions now include:

Friday
Free Practice 1 (FP1): 45 minutes
Practice (PR): 60 minutes, time to enter Q2 -
Saturday
Free Practice 2 (FP2): 30 minutes
Qualifier 1 (Q1): 15 minutes
Qualifier 2 (Q2): 15 minutes
MotoGP Tissot Sprint (SPRING) -
Sunday
Warm-up (WUP): 10 minutes
