Amidst the pouring rain, a devoted mother dog and her tiny puppy took shelter under a car after being accidentally left behind. They had nowhere else to go but to hope that a kind soul would find them. That kind soul turned out to be Hiridas, a seasoned rescuer from The Pets Masters, who discovered them as he made his way to his car. Underneath the car, the mother dog and her tiny puppy were soaked and shivering from the cold rain. They had clearly been abandoned in the storm, with no choice but to seek shelter nearby. The mother dog, both protective and fearful, hesitated as Hiridas approached, fearing that her puppy would be harmed.
Hiridas knelt down and reached out for both dogs. The mother stood protectively over her pup. Hiridas reached out, and the pup sniffed at him. Then the kind man used an umbrella to pull the baby out from under the cart, knowing that its loving mother would follow, and it worked. The mother dog could not bear the thought of being separated from her pup.
Hiridas carried both dogs to his car and wrapped them in blankets to keep them warm and comfortable. Moved by their plight, Hiridas decided to take Rainy, the mother dog, and Rainbow, her puppy, into his own home. He resolved to care for them himself until they were well enough if necessary. In the safe environment of their foster home, Rainy and Rainbow were taken to the vet, where it was discovered that Rainbow was not yet well enough to receive her vaccinations and needed a little more care.
Over the next few days, with the right medication and a nutritious diet, both dogs began to recover. Rainy expressed his gratitude by licking Hiridas affectionately, while Rainbow grew into a lively and happy puppy, always by her mother’s side.
Hiridas initially hoped to find a loving family to adopt the pair, but as months passed without a potential adopter, he decided to permanently adopt Rainy and Rainbow himself.
