Mitsubishi reduces Triton to make it easier to buy

Mitsubishi has yet to provide details on the optional reduced payload capacity of these two variants, although they will continue to be available with larger capacities.

Despite the changes, Mitsubishi hasn’t adjusted the prices of the relevant trims, with prices starting at $59,090 before on-road costs for the GLS and $63,840 before on-road costs for the GSR.

It is understood that the Mitsubishi Triton’s 3500kg braked towing capacity remains unchanged across the range.

All Mitsubishi Triton models are powered by a 2.4-litre bi-turbo four-cylinder diesel engine that produces up to Capacity 150kW at 3500 rpm and Torque 470Nm from 1500-2750 rpm.

A six-speed automatic transmission is standard, although a six-speed manual is not yet available in Australia.
