Meghan Markle’s visit to New York continues and her latest look is quite different from her previous two (check out those here and here), though all are characteristically polished. One of Markle’s outings this week was to lunch with legendary feminist pioneer Gloria Steinem. Markle opted for seasonally appropriate shorts that reflect both the weather and current trends. (NYC isn’t immune to a heatwave — this week was in the ’90s.)
While denim shorts (particularly cropped pants) may always be a summer wardrobe staple, fashionistas have been rocking another type of shorts since the end of the year: the long shorts. more, looks 10 times more polished than denim pants. Markle certainly got the memo and opted for navy blue pleated shorts, which she teamed with a white button-down, a brown clutch, and matching suede shoes.
