Them’s Fightin’ Herds (more affectionately known as “TFH”) is a 2D fighting game developed by Mane6, a small team working hard to create an experience that both newcomers and veterans of the game can enjoy. this genre will enjoy together. On October 18, players from around the world can finally join the stampede and play the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 for the first time.
Welcome to Foenum World
In the mystical and magical world of Fœnum, all four-legged creatures require social formation, cultural development, and training for combat. The various regions and species of Foenum have elected champions to seek the magical key that has the power to lock the Predators away, and earn glory and prestige for themselves and their fellows. There will only be one person worthy enough to use this key, and the competition is fierce!
Gameplay
Them’s Fightin’ Herds is a four-button fighter with Medium morningand Heavy attack buttons plus a Magic to access your character’s unique abilities. Multiple attacks in the form of chains combineusually done by going from Light arrive Heavy then from Soil arrive Air.
Special move performed by performing an attack after a complex directional movement, just like in traditional fighting games. Similar, Super meter build in a war, can be spent to active strong Super attack.
Chain normal attacks together, expand your combos with special moves, and finish off your opponents with high-damage Super attacks to win the round!

Each character approaches combat in their own way, representing a mixture of archetypes familiar to fans of fighting games.
Arizona
Playstyle: Rushdown // Grounded
Difficulty: Easy
Arizona is the youngest daughter of Texas and Minnesota, the Head Bull and Cow of her cattle tribe, nomads who roam the Prairie in search of greener pastures and open skies.
Despite her size, she possesses immense strength for opponents to kick, stomp, and head on. Her trusty lasso helps her keep combos and catch them unknowingly!
Velvet
Play Style: Zoner
Difficulty: Medium
Velvet is from Reine City, Fœnum’s luxury hub for the elite. She may not have much experience outside the walls, but her talent and intelligence keep her in perfect shape.
No deer could hold a candle for Velvet in the practice of Winter Magic. She commands sharp icebergs, freezing winds, and skillful jumps to stop her opponents from getting too close and damaging the herd of zebras!
Oleander
Play Style: All-Rounder
Difficulty: Medium
Oleander was born deep in the remote woods of The Woodlands among the practitioners of Light Magic, but to her dismay at the other unicorns’ indifference to their impending invasion The Predator has set her on a darker path.
Oleander made a pact with a demon called FHTNG NSP§KBL? (referred to as Fred) and is currently practicing Dark Magic. Her wide range of Special Movements grants her great flexibility, but she must gain power through her Magical abilities before she can use most of them.
Paprika
Play Style: All-Rounder // Tricky
Difficulty: Medium
Alpacas live high in the mountains among the ruins of a past civilization. The harsh environment turns most of them into grim stoicists, but Paprika is a rare exception. She has so much love to give. Perhaps too much. If only she could find someone to give it to. Anyone. She is not picky.
Paprika thrives on chaos: gliding across the stage in a flash, throwing presents from her picnic basket to distract opponents, all while setting up her powerful hits and grabs.
Pom
Play Style: Puppet // Summon
Difficulty: Hard
Pom never wanted to be a champion, but the sheepdogs that like her seem to sense some hidden potential and urge her to pursue despite her shy attitude toward danger.
Pom calls out and commands this variety of sheep dogs to attack her. In practice, players can use her ability to attack from unexpected angles and put heavy pressure on their opponents.
Tianhuo
Playstyle: Rushdown // Aerial
Difficulty: Easy
Tianhuo is a Longma (half dragon, half horse) and captain of the royal guard in a proud nation of elite warriors sworn to protect the people of Fœnum.
With martial arts mastery and deadly flames, Tianhuo dominates the sky. Fast attacks and high mobility keep players in, stay, and keep them guessing.
Shabby
Playstyle: Rushdown // Runstop
Difficulty: Hard
Shanty is a young orphan girl from the Goatani Islands on a journey to prove herself worthy of joining the legendary pirate crew. She’s aiming for a big goal – her heart set is to steal the most valuable treasure in the world: the magic key everyone is talking about!
Using her Magical abilities, Shanty can run at high speeds across the stage and even up walls to literally dash down and walk!

These seven characters make up the base roster for TFH, but more challenges are on their way. Gallop through the episodic story mode or jump into the action online and find your favorite when it premieres this October 18.
