McLaren 720S successor teased with launch sound, rear view

ONE Report from February this year April is the official reveal date for McLaren 720S’ successor, and it has been proven true. McLaren released a teaser on Twitter today, saying the reveal of a new “benchmark” supercar” will premiere at 7 p.m. ET tomorrow, April 25.

This car will definitely be 720S successor, currently rumor was named 750S. The news-related trailer is a video clip in which the upcoming supercar is kicked off. You can hear the 750S’s engine crank and idling for a few seconds before the sound stops. Listen below.

Reports on this new supercar suggest that the 750S will receive an updated version of the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 used in the 720S. However, the capacity will be raised to approx 740 horsepower instead of 710 horsepower of the previous car. The trailer doesn’t reveal much, but we can see some red LED taillights appearing in the dark in the video. They’re similar in shape and size to the taillights on the 720S, but we don’t know what the rest of the car will look like.

Be sure to stay tuned tomorrow night to see what McLaren has in store for us with the hot next supercar in its heels. PHEV Artura.
