Same as before Deadly frames Game, Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse provides some additional costumes for the player to unlock. They come in the form of DLC and unlockable costumes that can be obtained during gameplay. However, it is not possible to change your character’s outfit immediately. Players will need to make sure they beat the game’s Prologue before this option becomes available.
How to Change Outfits in Fatal Frame: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse
Once the player has reached Phase I: Summoning, you can change your unlocked additional outfit at any save point in the game. Save points indicated by yellow lanterns can be found throughout the game. These lanterns sometimes won’t glow depending on whether or not you’ve been attacked by a spirit. But in general, they will always be accessible.
Please note that the majority of accessories are only available through the Digital Deluxe version of the game or by pre-ordering the game. In addition, the digital room version of the game comes with additional swimsuit outfits for Ruka, Misaki and Choshiro. Other outfits available in this edition include evening gowns for Misaki and Ruka. However, the player can unlock the standard swimsuit outfits for all characters just by progressing.
