Malaysia Fuel Prices August 2024 First Week – RON97 Remains at RM3.47, Diesel Remains at RM3.35 a Litre

Today is Wednesday, marking the weekly fuel price update in Malaysia as the Ministry of Finance announces the retail fuel prices for the coming week from 1 to 7 August 2024.

The retail price of RON 97 petrol remains unchanged at the current level of RM3.47 a litre, the same as before. last weekand the same applies to RON 95 gasoline which remains the same price. ceiling price RM2.05 per litre set by the Malaysian government in February 2021.

This week, diesel retail prices remained unchanged, having been adjusted on June 10 at the start of the subsidy rationalization program For diesel in Peninsular Malaysia, Euro 5 grade B10 and B20 blends prices increased by RM3.35 a litre, while Euro B7 blends also continued to increase by 20 sen to RM3.55 a litre.

Retail prices of diesel in East Malaysia remain unchanged at RM2.15/litre and RM2.35/litre for main grade and B7.

These fuel prices will be in effect from midnight tonight until Wednesday, August 7, 2024, when the next fuel price update will be published. This is the 31st weekly fuel price format this year and the 290th since the format was introduced in early 2019.
