Make your own pizza-cooking Lexus Monogram GX for under $5,000

Yesterday, Lexus release one new concepts: A GX with one pizza oven in the back, so you and you your favorite people there may be The world’s largest tailgate. The GX monogram, as its name suggests, is a one-off that showcases Monogram-branded equipment — expensive equipment in an expensive car with expensive styling and finish. Obviously, we broke bitches that could do better.

Why should we be banned from making pizza in our own cars? Why can’t we make a cake as delicious as Monogram GX – even better? I said that To be no reason. I said we could make the pizza of our dreams with our own Lexus GXes, and I said we could do it all for under $5k. Here’s how.

First, you will need a Lexus GX. Sure, you can do this on almost any SUV or hatchback, but if we were going to steal from a luxury automaker we’d do it Right. This first generation GX costs $4,000 in gold, which you might tell yourself is the color of Tuscan roof tiles at sunset. You know, Show pizza.

However, now that we have a car, we need to tackle the whole pizza thing. Lexus’ Monogram release boasts that “the electric oven is handcrafted to capture the performance of a wood-burning brick oven to prepare pizza, tender artisan breads or freshly caught grilled branzino,” perhaps is the most interesting thing. Williams-Sonoma copy I’ve seen it from a car brand. So let’s beat them – we won’t just Capture performance As for a wood-burning stove, we’re going to put a wood-burning stove in this car.

The Ooni Fyra is a genuine wood oven and costs $350. Add in the cost of some brackets to hold it to the floor and we can assume we’re looking at a $400 situation here. Of course, since we’re burning real wood inside the car, we’ll want a way to get the smoke out of there in a controlled way, e.g. This $30 dryer hose and vent combo can be neatly installed onto the roof of the GX with the help of Sawzall.

We now invested $4,430 in our design, which gave us all the money in the world to imitate Monogram’s other bourgeois features. “Outside wine and bourbon storage?” This is a cooler that costs $25. “Cooler compartment?” Cooler too. “The first and only hot stone press in America; entertain to the core with this fascinating creation, creating a sphere for relaxing bourbon or brandy?” Get over yourself. Buy ice at the gas station like the rest of us.

The rest of the Monogram’s features mainly focus on “it comes with a cup”. Solo can deliver for under five dollars. I bet the Lexus luxury glasses don’t even have Jazz Cup graphics. We’re currently buying this build for $4,460 and we couldn’t wish for anything else in the world. Someone please do this and take a photo. I wanted to see how the tailgate setup makes the ultimate pizza.
