This recall, NHTSA campaign number 24V-495, affects 7,506 vehicles from From 2022 to 2024Lucid estimates 1% of recalled vehicles have this defect.
Lucid has released an over-the-air software update that will identify and alert owners to a high-voltage coolant heater defect. Lucid says that if one of these components is defective, it will be replaced free of charge. Owners will be notified by mail on August 9.
A separate recall has been issued for 5,251 2022 to 20223 Airs. Only 1% of vehicles in the campaign are estimated to have this defect. Lucid says that when it detects a hardware communication error, the high-voltage interlock software can disconnect the high-voltage contractors while the vehicle is moving. The result would be drive power failureThis may lead to a risk of accident.

So far, 10 cases have been reported.
Lucid released an over-the-air software update for the issue on June 24. Warning letters to owners about the issue will be mailed on August 15. The recall was filed under NHTSA campaign 24V-497.
