Lotus Emira priced from RM494k-RM585k in Australia – four-cylinder more expensive than Porsche 718 Cayman S
Lotus Australia has revealed prices for the full range of Emira domestic variants, where the mid-engined sports car is expected to arrive mid-year.
Of the several versions that will be offered, Australia will get the V6 first, priced at AU$184,900 (RM855,551) and followed by a four-cylinder First Edition in the second quarter of 2023; this will cost AUD$177,990 (RM563,385).
The most affordable of the Emira variants will be the DCT-only four-cylinder Emira priced at AU$155,990 (RM493,677), and this will be joined by a manual V6 variant priced at RM15,990. RM169,990 (RM3537,984) and a V6. auto at AUD$173,990 (RM550,643).
V6 versions of the Emira use the turbocharged Toyota 2GR-FE 3.5 liter V6 that has served in previous Lotus models, this time producing 400 hp and 420 Nm of torque in the Emira. with a manual transmission (the six-speed automatic has 10 Nm more torque at 430 Nm).
