After an exciting international tournament that included stops in Australia and Singapore, LIV Golf returns to the United States for the event in Houston, Texas. Coming to Houston Golf Club for the first time in tournament history, LIV Golf will eliminate the usual suspects in its only event before next week’s US Open at Pinehurst No.

Leading the candidates is the man who almost dominated the championship at the PGA Championship, Bryson DeChambeau. The Crushers captain has excelled at LIV Golf and major championships but is still looking for his first individual title of the year. His team had several wins, as did the All-Australian team, Ripper GC.

Cameron Smith aims to lead his team to a third straight victory and looks to find his own style in the process. While the former Open champion has shown form this season, Smith has struggled to put a string of quality outings together. With next week’s venue set up perfectly for his match, Smith will be hoping for progress in the lead up to the US Open.

Jon Rahm has been excellent on LIV Golf with a top-10 finish, but this has not yet translated into a major championship. Not a factor at the Masters or the PGA Championship, the two-time Major champion hopes to find that missing link this week in Houston.

Brooks Koepka appears to have something special as the latest winner of LIV Golf in Singapore, while Joaquin Niemann looks to keep his excellent season on track. Dean Burmester, Abraham Ancer, Talor Gooch and Louis Oosthuizen are among those who made the list of candidates in Houston.
