Little did Harris-Walz know that the US economy CANNOT survive without crude oil. – Watts Up With That?

Without crude oil products and fuels, Kamala Harris and Tim Walz’s energy policies pose a real existential threat to billions of people on this planet.

“Renewable energy” like wind turbines and solar panels ONLY exist to generate electricity occasionally during favorable weather conditions, as they CANNOT produce tires, toilet paper, iPhones, or any of the products or transportation fuels that support lifestyles and economies around the world!

Neither Vice President Kamala Harris nor Minnesota Governor Tim Walz were aware that all the parts of the spacecraft, EVs and more 50,000 merchant shipsmore 20,000 commercial aircraft more 50,000 military aircraft 23,000 private jets and 33 million yachts are made from products derived from crude oil.

Additionally, all merchant ships, commercial and military aircraft, private planes and yachts use transportation fuel produced from crude oil.

PLUS, everything that NEEDS electricity to function, like iPhones, iPads, TVs, computers, data centers, and X-ray machines, is made from crude oil derivatives.

It is shocking that both Harris and Walz do not understand that electricity was developed AFTER the discovery of crude oil. Without the parts and components that make electricity possible such as insulation, copper wire, computers, control panels, and air conditioners, there would be no electricity from any of the six methods used to generate electricity such as coal, natural gas, nuclear, hydro, wind, and solar.

Surprisingly, neither Harris nor Walz has enough knowledge about energy to direct policymakers in drafting energy policy!

Policymakers fail to understand that crude oil is almost never used to generate electricity, but when made into petrochemical products is the basis of more than 6,000 productsis the basis for almost every product supporting Hospitals, Medical Equipment, Household Appliances, Electronics, Telecommunications, Heating and Ventilation Systems, and Communication Systems.

Additionally, crude oil is the basis of many different transportation fuels in our physical society, which did not exist before the 1800s, and are now used in infrastructures such as: Transportation, Airports, Airplanes and pleasure boats, Space programs, and the Military.

None of today’s readers were alive 200 years ago, but the world experienced a net zero emissions environment just a few centuries ago. Before the 1800s, and before the discovery of oil, the world had NO crude oil, and obviously NO products or transportation fuels, and NO electricity and NO Tesla!! Life is hard and short.

Both Harris and Walz fail to understand that no one uses crude oil in its raw form. “Big Oil” only exists because people are addicted to oil-based products and fuels to support today’s lifestyle and economy!

Demanding “net zero” emissions will be difficult without a contingency plan to support the physical demand of societies and economies around the world for all the products and fuels made from crude oil, countless initiatives for “green” electricity only from wind and solar have crippled entire industries.

Furthermore, mandating “zero” emissions is even more annoying when those “renewable solutions” require the same crude oil to make ALL the parts and components for wind turbines, solar panels, and electric cars. Mandating electric cars and generating electricity from wind turbines and solar panels is mandating MORE crude oil. Harris, Walz, and the policymakers who came after them have no idea that electricity came AFTER the discovery of oil 200 years ago.

Without a replacement to support the demand for product and fuel supply chains, the issue that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz do not want to discuss is that crude oil is the foundation of our material society because it is the basis of all the products and fuels that today’s humanity and economies around the world require, currently feeding 8 billion people – ten times the population before the Industrial Revolution.

If Harris and Walz had read and understood the book recently, “Harnessing Clean Energy” – Helping Citizens Understand Environmental and Humanitarian Abuse to Support Clean Energy Pulitzer Prize nominees, they WILL NOT support China and Africa continuing to exploit people with yellow, brown and black skin, and degrading the environment on their “land”, just so that richer developed countries can “green”.

The book discusses the lack of transparency to the world about the impact of the green movement on the exploitation of people in developing countries who mine the exotic minerals and metals needed to create the batteries needed to store “green energy.” In these developing countries, these mining operations disproportionately impact low-income communities and exploit child labor and are responsible for the most serious human rights abuses against vulnerable minority groups. These operations are also directly destroying the planet through environmental degradation.

It is immoral, immoral and hypocritical to continue to financially encourage China and Africa to exploit “their” poor yellow, brown and black people, and financially support the environmental degradation of “their” landscapes just to enforce mandatory electric vehicles, and subsidize wind turbines and solar panels in “richer countries”!

When Kamala Harris and Tim Walz look outside the United States and the handful of wealthy countries trying to go “green,” they will see that at least 80 percent of humanityor more than six billion people in this world live on less than $10 a dayand billions of people are living with little or no electricity. Today, politicians in some rich countries are pursuing the most expensive ways to generate intermittent electricity.

The World Health Organization estimates that 2 billion people in developing countries still cook with open fires or stoves that burn wood, coal, and animal dung. These fuels create harmful indoor air pollution, killing about 3 million people each year. The good news is that petroleum-based fuels and products are increasingly used in poorer developing countries, reducing disease and death and extending life expectancy.

To eliminate the use of crude oil in the world, there is no need to over-regulate or over-tax the oil industry, just STOP using products and fuels made from crude oil! Simply put:

  • STOP the production of cars, trucks, planes, boats, ships, farm equipment, medical equipment and supplies, communications equipment, military equipment, etc. that require crude oil for their product supply chain.

If Kamala Harris and Tim Walz want to openly support the destruction of the fossil fuel industry, they should start pushing the current 8 billion people on this planet and economies around the world to STOP demanding products and fuels made from Crude Oil!!!

The energy policies of Vice President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, no crude oil and petroleum products and fuels, is a real existential threat to billions of people on our planet, who could die from disease, malnutrition and weather-related deaths.
