If it’s a rapper who’s going to put the city of Atlanta behind him, you know it’s Lil Baby. The GRAMMY Award winner is partnering with local entrepreneur Lemont Bradley to provide employment to individuals under the age of 21 across Atlanta. According to CBS46, the initiative is aimed at fighting crime.
The partnership seemed like a no-brainer as Lemont and Lil Baby had been friends for several years and were eager to collaborate on an impactful project in the metro Atlanta area. Lemont owns several businesses, including; Auto Spa Bistro, Eco Car Spa and Clutch Restaurant.
The newly opened Clutch restaurant is looking to hire bartenders, bartenders, waiters, kitchen assistants, dishwashers and promoters for themed nights every day of the week. In addition, Lemont is also looking to rent a car wash, car dye machine and more for the car wash. “We are looking for 100 jobs for teens and young adults in the metro Atlanta area,” Baby and Lemont said.
“With such a high crime rate surrounding fraud, robbery and even murder, we are looking to provide an outlet and positive revenue stream for those looking for income.”
Job opportunities don’t stop there. Both men advise they plan to open a lawn care business in the fall.
“We are very excited about this initiative,” the men said. “Of course, we want to help boost the city’s economy, but we’re really focused on reducing the city’s crime rate.”
Crime in Atlanta has spiraled out of control. As we reported earlier, ‘Real Housewives Of Atlanta’ star Marlo Hampton was recently the victim of a home invasion on July 1. Marlo explained the incident happened when the grandchild was young. Her sister was at home and thanked God that the Sandy Springs police arrived quickly.
