Katie Holmes wears a trendy vest in New York

Because no one can have enough Katie Holmes and her approachable cool-girl style, we’re back with another story focusing on one of her recent looks. As usual, Holmes was photographed walking around NYC earlier this week, blending in (somewhat) with all the other cool NYC girls in perfect spring outfits. Holmes paired baggy white trousers with a utility jacket and suede sneakers, with the most notable thing about her outfit being the shirt she chose to wear.

Vests have been one of the number one obsessions of us fashion-minded people for at least a year now, as they bring an elegant, polished look to anything they’re paired with. . And now the temperature is heating up, linen vests are leading the way. Holmes chose a high-collared brown vest with a few buttons at the ends cleverly undone.
