Comedian Kathy Griffin says she attempted suicide after Trump supporters accompanied her after she posted a photo of herself holding a severed Trump prosthetic head.
“I fell into a cigarette addiction. I’m really addicted to prescription drugs. I probably started abusing them maybe years before the Trump incident – I don’t blame him,” she said on The View. “Once that happened, and to be honest, with the quarantine, I just started taking pills all day. I had this voice in my head like, ‘You shouldn’t be here anymore. You had a good run. It’s time for you to go. ‘ I used to imagine as if my husband would find someone great who was a better fit for him. I wrote this whole note, then I took about 100 pills,” she said.

Kathy may have been addicted to drugs, but she says lung cancer is much scarier.
“It was much scarier to me than the cancer,” she said. “It feels like the whole world hates you. The whole world thinks you are disgusting and irrelevant”.
